Oh How I Love A Pop Of Colour
I LOVE COLOUR. It has the power to brighten any day & I especially love this pink chair! When I bought my house last year I treated myself to some lovely new furniture. But it started an addiction; an addiction to Loaf. My name is Charlotte, and I am a Loaf addict. One Saturday, I stepped inside the Loaf 'Slowroom' in Battersea and the rest, as they say, is history. The products are such great quality and really suit my style. This Soufflé Love Seat in Nantucket Pink brushed cotton is the stuff of dreams, well mine anyway! When it came to choosing my sofa, I literally sat on every single sofa in the shop before opting for the very squishy & very deep Crumpet Sofa in Wolf Grey. The cushions you sit on constantly need plumping but it is oh so comfy that I don't care! I added a couple of statement cushions & grey checkered rug to bring the look together. I live amongst a lot of grey & cream but always with statement colour thrown in as I love the contrast. Now to bring some personality to the hallway and after a lot of searching I found the one...
After hanging this gorgeous Mirror in my hallway almost on day one I have have been searching for the perfect complement ever since. After months of looking I found this gorgeous piece from Oliver Bonas; The Meryl Chest is handcrafted in India from sustainable mango wood & combines a sleek silhouette with a contemporary unstained finish and modern metallic and leather handles. It's a versatile storage piece that could work for the bedroom, hallway or living room; it has a mix of shallow and deep drawers and a handy cubby hole, in a tonal palette of grey and natural tones with a splash of aqua. As you get to see more of my style you will see splashes of colour are my thing! Cue a colourful vase with some simple white Cala Lillies to finish the look off.
And finally, in this my very first post, this ceiling light adds a lovely pop of Aqua in my dining room & and just how cool is this pink pineapple?! I absolutely love it, it was a lovely gift from Bali & makes me think of my very good friend who lives there every time I look at it.
I would love to hear from you if you have any feedback or even a suggestion on things you would like to read, do leave me a comment below or get in touch.
Thanks for reading. Until next Sunday,...
